Monday - Just a Ducky Day

Well, Aunt Di, you've hooked my girls. It's all your fault.  Yes, we took the girls on another Duck Boat tour. But while you have the Disco Duck living with you, I have two Duck Boat Captain's!  They let the girls drive the boat on the Ohio and Allegheny Rivers. We learn a bit about the city of Pittsburgh -- like it produced more steel during WWII than Germany and Japan combined and that the paint used on the bridges and stuff is unique to Pittsburgh and called alohmon - for Allegheny, Ohio and Monongahela.
We also learned about these duck boats.  They were build during WWII, have a max speed of 5 MPH in the water and they were not built to last as long as they have.

You can rent kayaks and kayak on the Allegheny!!  Wouldn't great-Grandpa Freeman like us doing that?
