Kentucky Horse Park

Our last day of this vacation was driving up I-75.  We decided to stop in Lexington and check out the Kentucky Horse Park.  We didn't see it all, we got there at noon and there is a lot to see.  We first toured the International Museum of the Horse.  Then we took a trolley ride pulled by two beautiful draft horses.
The we left the girls go horse-back riding...

Sarah rode Boonie, "He was sweet", said  Sarah.

Maria rode Cowboy, and "he knock helmuts off the wall", Maria said.

Then we went to see a little show call the show of Champions where they brought out some champion horses that are kept at the Horse Park.  We got to see a trotter name Mr. Muscleman, Kentucky Derby winner Funny Cide, Da Hoss - who won back-to-back Breeder's Cups and Cigar, who won 16 race in a row.  We also got to see Go for Gin in the corral.
