Beach Day

Well, Kayaking was cancelled a second day in a row.

So, we decided to hit the beach before any rain came.  We spent the morning enjoying the beach.  We did a little time in the water, played in the sand, watched birds, watched people, collected shells and read.

We came in around 11 and walked about 3 blocks to OMA's pizza.  Then we came home and took a break.  Bob took a good nap.  We went back out around four, but it didn't last long as a medium to light rain came in.  So we tried swimming in the pool in the rain... well, the girls did.  Then they played with some sponge balls that Maria made from an idea on Pinterest.

After dinner we went out to the beach again, mostly to enjoy the beach, read, practice the flag and maybe watch a sunset... but the clouds got heavy and the sun disappeared. 

As we crossed the street to the beach, a car stopped and let me cross. Then I hear someone yell, "BOB".  It was my second level manager, Eric! I knew he would be here, but he said, you won't find me.  ( I didn't, he found me.)
