There was a golf course near there that Bob loves, but it is right next to the river and with the river that high, Bob doesn't need extra water hazards.
The first place we passed on the way into San Antonio was the Alamodome where the Alter Marching Knight will perform in a BOA Super Regional later this year!
We checked in and were hungry. So we walked down to the Riverwalk and found the place that Debbie and Bob ate at 6 years ago. Rita's has good fajita's. Then we walked the Riverwalk. The temperature was in the low 80's and it was very nice along the River. Bob found out that the Jim Cullum Jazz Band doesn't seem to be the regular band at the Hyatt anymore -- sad. I just looked them up and they are playing at a place called... "Tucker's". LOL.

After walking the Riverwalk, we then took a boat ride down the San Antonio River.
Then we went for a ride to check out the locations for the BOA trip. We checked out the hotel for BOA and tried to figure out where the semi would park. We then drove from there to the Alamodome. It is only slightly more than 1 mile between the hotel and the dome. We drove around the Alamodome and checked out where we expected to unload and load.
After that we checked out the San Antonio River park south of town. There was a web-site that said they rented kayaks and one could use them in this area. However, the river didn't right for us.
