WWII Museum

Tuesday, we started with breakfast at Mother's, followed by a visit to the World War II Museum.  It was the D-Day Museum and they have expanded it.  The gallery has some very good displays, interactive displays and movies running.  However, if you are going, you need to plan a day to see it.  You can really spend some time there.  The last building has some WWII warbirds in it and the ability to see them as if they were in flight!

After a late lunch, Debbie and Maria went to the Flea Market  and the New Orleans Jazz National Heritage Park and Jean Lefitte National Historical Park and Preserve and Bob and Sarah headed to the hotel for some R&R, trip planning and catching up on the blog.

Well, Sarah, Mom and Dad decided to get one more beignet before we left.  So we walked over to the French Quarter one last time and got some beignets. 

We made a slight change in our plans and we are going to spend one night in Galveston.  Then on to Houston.
