It was a perfect day, weather-wise, for a trip to the Badlands. The most fascinating part was how the Rock formations of the Badlands contrasts with the prairie around it and with the different Rock that forms Mt. Rushmore not that far away. The girls described it as marvelous, magnificent and majestic, better than the Grand Canyon, stunning, and quite a shock when you first see it.
We saw some wildlife, a ram, some prairie dogs but no snakes...(The warning sign was scary enough).
After the badlands, we headed across the state and across the Missouri River.
We stopped in Sioux Falls and checked out the Falls!
And we took pictures (sometimes of each other).
