We finally got to one of the five National Park sites here in the Dayton Area. We went to the Huffman Prairie Flying Field. The visitor's center was small, but fun. They have a Wright Flyer simulator :-). The girls crashed a few times, but they got their flight and certificate. Debbie & Bob got their 3 minute flight the first time (by watching and learning from the girls). The trick was to let Debbie keep the rudder straight while Bob controlled the speed/pitch control. The we drove to field which is tucked in just south of the main field of Wright Patterson Air Force Base. We took two pictures to get us all in the picture!
The girls have been to the Paul Lawrence Dunbar house with School.
